WILLIAM ROSENTHAL - 4TH DAN
William Rosenthal has been a Kendo practitioner for over 12 years participating and achieving results in a vast number of competitions on the national level.
He has participated twice in the national squad getting to the final round of selections both times and has also been selected previously as the foreign delegate for Australia at the Kitamoto seminar in Saitama, Japan.

He was the state champion in 2019 as well as the coach for the state team at the national championship.
​
William has also captained the Flinders team for victory at the state championships on several occasions from the early 2010s as well as being on the State team that achieved 2nd at the National competition in 2017.

PELLE ZETTERSTRÖM - 3RD DAN
Pelle started practicing kendo as a fifteen-year-old in cold and distant Sweden. He has practiced and competed in Scandinavia but also in the Middle East. After a long hiatus from kendo, Pelle joined KCFU in 2018 and brought home his first Flinders team gold at the SAKC later that year
BYRON SON - 3RD DAN
Byron has been practicing Kendo for over a decade achieving his third Dan last year.
He has won the state championship in both 2016, 2017, and 2020 as well as 2nd place in 2018 and 2019. He was also on the team that brought the Silver home from the nationals in 2017.

Byron also spent a year across 2019 into 2020 in Japan training at the International Budo University in Chiba where he completed a year-long Budo specialisation course equipping him to effectively teach and compete in his home country.
​
He also holds a Shodan (black belt) in Tankendo, Jukendo and Judo as well as 1st kyu in Iado.
